    1. Track online

      • 1

Gather your tracking number. This is a combination of letters and numbers usually sent in an email after your package has shipped. If the package shipped from an individual, rather than a company, contact the individual and ask for the tracking number.

      • 2

Launch the Web browser on your computer.

      • 3

        Navigate to the FedEx website.

      • 4

Click on "Track" in the "Track a Shipment" section.

      • 5

Enter your tracking number in the box under "Track by Tracking Number." You can enter up to 30 tracking numbers at once, one per line.

      • 6

Click "Track" to display the tracking information on the next screen.

      Track by email

      • 1

Create a new email addressed to track@fedex.com. No subject is required.

      • 2

Type your tracking numbers into the body of the email. You can track up to 30 different shipments on this email. If you have multiple tracking numbers, type them one per line or separate them by commas.

      • 3

Send the email. The tracking information is sent to your email address.

    Tips & Warnings

    • FedEx released apps for web-enabled phones and mobile devices that can also be used to track shipments. Download the app that is made for your device and track your package while you are on the go.
