Things You'll Need:
- Foaming Hand Wash Container
- Regular liquid hand soap refills
- Water
-
Step 1
Open your used container of foaming hand wash removing the pump.
-
Step 2
Fill your foaming hand wash bottle half way with your favorite regular liquid hand soap (not foaming hand wash). My favorite hand soap is Method hand soap because its green and Method refills are available just about everywhere but you may use any brand you like including antibacterial soap.
-
Step 3
Fill the remaining foaming hand wash container with water.
-
Step 4
Put the pump back on your foaming hand wash container and shake-up.
-
Step 5
Pump and wash your hands as you would normally. The mixture will need to settle for a while before normal foam is dispensed. If you pump out your foaming hand wash before the soap bubbles settle, your foam will not dispense appropriately.
-
Step 6
A special money saving note: You will save money and resources if you purchase standard liquid hand soap and add your own water over purchasing foaming hand soap refills. Foaming hand wash is basically only watered down liquid hand soap put in a fancy pump dispenser.
-
Step 7
If you have very dry hands, using foaming hand soap is probably a better idea than your standard liquid hand soap because there is less detergent to dry your hands.
