If you do not want to be bothered with telemarketers and unwanted calls to your home phones or your cell phone you should register all your numbers with the National Do Not Call List.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Registration is easy.
It takes only a few minutes yet it can save you a lifetime of grief and help you avoid all those pestering calls. Worse than that, if you pay for incoming calls you will pay to be bothered when they call you on your cell phones. So it is imperative that you act now before the flood starts.

  2. Step 2

Registration is good for five years.
Once you register, your numbers will be on the National Do Not Call Registry for five years. This is good but you must somehow create a means to notify yourself to renew your registration.

  3. Step 3

    Call this number to register.
Simply call 888-382-1222 from the phone that you are registering and you will be prompted what to do next. This truly takes one minute or less and it can save you a lot of grief and money. This is a toll free number. Even if you are calling from your cell phone it is worth the minute that you spend on the phone.

  4. Step 4

    Repeat these steps.
Make sure you do the same for each home phone and cell phone that you have. You must call from the number you are registering and they will ask you to enter that number. They will confirm that you entered the proper number and you are complete. If you are not calling from that phone it will not be registered. So make sure you call from the phone that you are registering.

  5. Step 5

Share this number and process with all your friends and family so that they can register as well. Send them an email. Post it on all of your social sites. Call people if you have too. If your parents or elderly friends and relatives need you to do it for them go by and help them out.
We are our brothers keepers. Act accordingly.
