Instructions

    • 1

Use the scissors to puncture a hole in the center of the paper plate. Twist the scissors to widen the hole to about 3/4 of an inch in diameter.

    • 2

Take an ear candle, and push it through the hole in the plate. Start with the tip of the candle, and push up through the bottom.

    • 3

Insert the candle into one of your ears, and light it. make sure you keep your head tilted to the side, so the candle is sticking straight up. The paper plate will catch the wax.

    • 4

Let the candle burn about halfway, and repeat steps two and three with your other ear.

    • 5

Dampen the washcloth with warm water, and cleanse the outer parts of your ears, to remove any dirt or wax buildup.

    • 6

Dip a cotton swab into the peroxide, and insert into your ear. You will feel a fizzy feeling if there is wax buildup. This is just the peroxide working.

    • 7

Turn the cotton swab around, and insert the dry end of it, to remove the bits of wax that were knocked loose by the peroxide.

    • 8

Repeat step 7 with your other ear. If you feel that you may still have wax buildup, you may want to use the remaining ear-candle to remove further wax and dirt.
