Ooey-gooey and oh-so-fun to play with. Make some blubber, shape into eyeballs and put in the potpourri bowl this Halloween!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Glues
  • Tap Water
  • Borax
  • 2 Bowls
  • Mixing Spoons
  1. Step 1

    Mix 1/2 c. water and 1/2 c. glue in a bowl.

  2. Step 2

Mix 1/2 c. water and 2 tbsp. borax in another bowl.

  3. Step 3

Stir borax mixture constantly and add glue mix.

Tips & Warnings
  • Blubber should immediately turn lumpy and tough. If it doesn't, add more of the borax mixture. You can use this like silly putty.
  • Use a good, thick glue for best results.
  • Not for small children - this is not edible.

on 11/22/2005 Mix equal portions of white school glue and liquid starch (add food color if you want to) until glue becomes tough and rubbery; drain remaining starch off and knead blubber. Can be stored in ziploc bag for a long time and kids love to play with it.
