How to Get a Tan Quickly

Getting a tan is easy, and really brings some color to otherwise pale skin. However, the safe way is to do it quickly, without using the harmful rays of the sun, which can cause skin cancers and other undesirable effects.

Things You'll Need

  • Jergens Natural Glow lotion
  • Washcloth
  • Hemp Brand sunblock and skin soothing cream

After a shower, pat your body dry with a soft towel, and make sure there is no fuzz from it left on your body.

liberally smooth on some Jergens Natural Glow lotion to your entire body. Avoid adding the lotion to areas of the body like your face, elbows, palms of your hands, and knees.

Take the washcloth, and dampen it slightly. Then use it to smooth the lotion into your skin, and over the areas that you did not add lotion to previously. This will get those problematic areas tanned without over-tanning them.

Wait about an hour, then rub your entire body with the Hemp Brand sunblock cream, paying extra attention to your face, and other sensitive parts of your body.

Go outside and take a walk, swim, or any other outdoor activities you can think of. However, limit your sun exposure to an hour.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't sit in the sun for too long after using amplifying lotions like Jergens, because it can cause your skin to turn orange
