How to Read J-14 Magazine Online

J-14 is one of the top teen celebrity magazines. (The magazine was originally called Just for Teens.) The print issue of the magazine offers articles and gossip on celebrities, fashion tips, polls, contests, quizzes and posters. You cannot read the complete magazine online, but you can catch a glimpse of some of the articles included in the print issue as well as participate in contests and polls.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to J-14's website by following the link in Resources.

  2. Step 2

    View breaking celebrity news on the front page. You can comment on the article and answer the online question by clicking "Read More."

  3. Step 3

    Go to other sections online by using the tabs at the top of the website.

  4. Step 4

    Go to the pink tab labeled "Q&A" to read interviews with teen TV and movie stars. You can search back through two to three weeks' worth of interviews.

  5. Step 5

    Read about style trends and ask fashion questions by clicking on the green "Style" tab. You can ask questions about fashion and style by leaving a comment.

  6. Step 6

    Participate in polls, read blogs and enter contests by clicking on the other appropriately labeled tabs.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can buy complete issues of J-14 in stores for $3.99 an issue (as of June 2009) or subscribe online to take advantage of discounted subscriptions. You can view some interviews with J-14 on YouTube.
  • You must be 13 to participate in contests online. If you are not 13, you must have parental permission.
