How to Add an Avatar to Twitter

Add personality to your Twitter account by uploading an avatar, or personal image. Not only will you attract more followers, but your image will appear beside your Twitter updates, making it more interesting for your followers.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Twitter account.

2. Click on "Settings" at the top right of your Twitter home page.

3. Click on the "Picture" tab on the Settings page.

4. Click the "Choose" button to upload an image from your computer. Note that the maximum size is 700k and the image format must be JPG, GIF or PNG.

5. Select an image from your computer and click the "Open" button. Click the "Save" button beneath the upload box. If your image is too large, Twitter will warn you. Resize your image and repeat these steps to upload and save.
