Things You'll Need:
- Pencil Slanted eyebrow tweezers Scissor tweezers Aloe vera gel or lotion
-
Step 1
Measure where your right eyebrow should begin by taking a pencil, and holding it up vertically against your right nostril. Look at where the pencil stands against your eyebrow: The very point where it meets your eyebrow is where your eyebrow should begin (any hairs left to the left and under the pencil should be tweezed).
-
Step 2
Take your eyebrow tweezers, and gently but quickly tweeze the stray hairs that were to the left and under your pencil. Tweeze them in the direction of your eyebrow (so you will be tweezing to the right).
-
Step 3
Now find the shape of your eyebrow by lining up the pencil vertically to the outside edge of your iris (the colored part of your eye around your pupil). Where your pencil meets your eyebrow is where your eyebrow should arch.
-
Step 4
Shape the arch of your eyebrow by tweezing stray hairs that lie under your eyebrow's natural arch that you found with the pencil.
-
Step 5
Use your scissor tweezers to cut "flyaway" or "cowlicky" areas of your eyebrow. Place the scissors flush against your face, and carefully trim any unruly areas at the top of your eyebrow so they lay straight and even.
-
Step 6
Dab your tweezed areas with aloe vera gel. This gel will soothe the irritation and redness caused by the tweezing and give your skin a cool, soothing sensation.
-
Step 7
Repeat the above five steps with the other eyebrow.
