Step 1
Goodsearch
Goodsearch is a search engine powered by Yahoo! that raises money for non-profits. Every time someone searches the internet, a penny is raised for the charity of their choice. For instance, Shwachman-Diamond America has raised over $500 since registering as a charity with Goodsearch. To register your non-profit and begin earning money on Goodsearch, visit www.goodsearch.com -
Step 2
Goodshop
Goodsearch also has a free fundraising program called Goodshop. Donors shopping on the internet get to their sites through the Goodsearch page, and a percentage of each purchase goes to the non-profit of their choice. We like Goodshop because, unlike other charity shopping sites, Goodshop allows donors to raise money when making purchases on iTunes. -
Step 3
iGive
iGive is another shopping mall on the internet that allows donors to shop at stores and raise money for the charity of their choice. Shwachman-Diamond America regularly receives donations checks from iGive. To register as a charity on iGove, visit www.igive.com -
Step 4
Cartridges for Kids
Another free fundraising opportunity that does not cost donors anything. Donors collect used printer ink cartridges, used cell phones, used iPods and other electronics. Donors receive free FedEx labels to ship the used items and once received, the non-profit receives a donation check. Shwachman-Diamond America regularly receives donation checks from Cartridges for Kids. It is a great on-going free fundraiser for non-profits. -
Step 5
MissionFish
Through MissionFish, sellers on eBay can donate money from their sales to the registered charity of their choice. This is another free fundraising opportunity for non-profits.
