Clematis
Here's another plant that can be a charmer. Rather than the typically used Clematis 'Jackmanii' try some of the double flowered varieties, decorative seed head forming varieties, bicolors, or other unusual forms and colors of this lovely vine. - 4

Tropical vines
If you are fortunate enough to live where the temperatures stay warm in the winter, there are wonderful choices in tropical climbing plants. Check into the odd Dutchman Pipes (Aristolochia), Eccremocarpus, Kennedia or the Glory Lily to name only four. -

And don't forget edibles that grow on vines. Kiwis can be found with colored foliage or the more familiar fuzzy fruits (plant a male and female plant together for fruiting), look for decorative gourds, or try a squash relative used in Mexican cooking, the chayote.
