Magic the Gathering is a collectable trading card game in which players battle each other with their cards. These cards are divided up in to 5 different color categories.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

White: This color uses elements such as gaining life and noble creatures like angels and knights to win their battles. White is a good color for people who like to play it safe and pick their spot.

  2. Step 2

Blue: Blue is a color that uses spells to counteract the opponents moves. The creatures involved tend to be mages. This is a good color for people who love strategy, control, and reacting to their opponents.

  3. Step 3

Black: This is the color of death and sacrifice. Many times black creatures are zombies and ghouls and can be brought back from the dead. Black would suit a person who is willing to take risks and hurt themselves as well as their opponents.

  4. Step 4

Red: Red represents fire and earth. Many of the cards that are used to win do not involve creatures but direct damage (burn) spells. There are still creatures involved like goblins and dragons. Red is for people who like to do damage without really attacking the opponent.

  5. Step 5

Green: Green represents nature. Its strategy involves many powerful creatures like giant wurms and other animals. Green is for people who enjoy building up to powerful creatures.

  6. Step 6

Many times people choose more than one color to help them win matches, such as hurting the opponent with burn spells (red) then finishing them off with a giant creature (green). Choose whatever you feel like you could have more fun with, there is not one color that is particularly better than another.
