Things You'll Need:
- Blender, spring water, blueberries, bananas, rice protein powder, ground flaxseed, flaxseed oil
-
Step 1
Prepare a vegetable broth of your favorite veggies. I like using seaweed, celery, squash, and kale. Boil these items down slowly for a few hours. Make about 2 gallons. It should be enough to drink 2-3 times a day for about 3-4 days. Bring it to work in a thermos and sip on it like tea throughout the day. It will curb your appetite and detoxify your system.
-
Step 2
Mix a smoothie. Drink this for breakfast and a snack throughout the day, at least everyday for 7 days. It's delicious. You will need 1 glass of water, 1/2 cup of blueberries, 1/2 banana, 2 tablespoons of rice protein powder, 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed, 2 tablespoons of borage/flaxseed oil. Blend ingredients until smooth. This shake reduces inflammation and it's tasty. If you need it to be denser, add an extra piece of banana. You will drink this for breakfast for the week.
-
Step 3
Eliminate sugar and flour by eating mostly brown rice, chicken, and veggies for the week.
-
Step 4
Season your brown rice properly with ginger, cilantro, onions. You can also season it with curry. It will add variety to your meals for the week. This can be really tasty with chicken, so don't overeat. 2-3 small meals a day of this is enough, the detox shake can be used for some meal replacements.
-
Step 5
Soak in a Epsom salt bath with 10 drops of lavender oil. Mix 1 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of Epsom salt in a hot bath (not too hot!). This will help cleanse your body and skin. The heat will release toxins through your pores. Do it at night or else you won't be able to do much of anything. It leaves you completely relaxed.
