Isn't it great to have a list of all your telephone numbers saved when your phone just got lost? Phew, at least you don't have to ask all of your friends for numbers. This article will show you how to do it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Install the necessary bluetooth programs on your computer. Make sure you have bluetooth on your cell phone. If you don't find your make and model number and call your cell phone provider.

  2. Step 2

Turn on your bluetooth. You will know when its on when other phones will pick up the signal.

  3. Step 3

On Windows XP go to the start menu, control panel, bluetooth settings, add device. Then select your phone and you can do this by finding your designated name.

  4. Step 4

You may be asked for a password or passcode. I prefer to go without the passcode to make the process easier. If you pick the passcode, then use the same one that you use on your phone. Your phone and computer are linked!

  5. Step 5

The software that you installed on your computer should run or if not start the bluetooth program.
