Make a Pirate Math Review Sheet

I end each kindergarten school year with a "Pirate" thematic unit. I also like to review most of the work that we have done during the year, so I create a "pirate" math review sheet that encompasses several of the math concepts we have covered. It is very important to review these concepts, because it's amazing how many kids completely forget the concept of greater than/less than by year's end. Here is how to create a pirate math review sheet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Create a math worksheet that encompasses greater than/less than, addition and subtraction problems.

  2. Step 2

Make the first column greater than/less than problems and be sure to include some equal numbers.

  3. Step 3

Have the second column include all addition problems. I always put a sample problem at the top of the column.

  4. Step 4

Make the third column all subtraction problems with a sample at the top.

  5. Step 5

Make the last two columns a mixture of all three concepts.
