How to Clean Knee Supports
Knee supports/braces are typically worn when there is pain or injury to the knee. A number of people used them to prevent knee injuries during physical activities like sports activities. Knee supports are created from combinations of durable plastic, foam, metal, straps and joints. They come in numerous colors, designs and sizes. Knee supports, however, must be cleaned on a regular basis to prevent the accumulation of bacteria and debris.

Make a mixture of antibacterial dish washing liquid and water in a bucket. Use a clean piece of cloth to rub your knee supports free of any dirt or sweat. Put them in the bucket and let them soak for 1 hour.

Scrub your knee supports with a cleaning brush in the soap solution. Brush them carefully inside and out, including the joints, to remove any germs.

Moisten a clean towel with water. Wipe your knee supports clean of any soapy residue.

Hang your knee supports outside to air dry, preferably under sun light.

Lubricate the joints of your knee supports. Use a high-quality silicone lubricant to help make the joints move freely.

Tips & Warnings
Never put knee supports in the dryer because they will shrink and become discolored. Never use bleach to clean your knee supports.
