How to Install the XP Pro Upgrade
The Windows XP Pro edition of the Windows XP operating system is the most advanced version of the operating system. The Pro edition supports multiple processors, and it supports Windows Active Directory, which allows the computer to join advanced computer networks like you find at many businesses. The Home version of Windows XP does not support those features, but it can be upgraded to the Pro edition with software found on an upgrade CD. Windows XP MCE edition cannot be upgraded to the Pro edition.
