How to Make Natural Body Scrubs
A good body scrub exfoliates dead skin and leaves the skin soft and glowing. Making a natural body scrub saves money and allows you to make sure all the ingredients are safe (many "natural" body products on the market contain harmful chemicals and synthetic fragrances and preservatives).

Tips & Warnings
Extra virgin olive oil can be substituted for sesame seed oil. La Baleine salt is best, but sugar --- which has finer crystals --- can be used in place of salt. Sugar is also softer on the skin while scrubbing. Essential oils should complement one another. For example, mixing mint with lavender can create an unnatural smell.
Test for allergic reactions to essential oils by placing a small drop on the skin. Spicier oils like clove or cinnamon are irritants while lavender and lilac are calming.
