      Click on your computer's Start Menu and select the Control Panel. Double-click on "Add or Remove Programs."

      Access the "Add or Remove Programs" function in an alternate way by clicking on the Start Menu and selecting Run. Type "appwiz.cpl" in the Run box, and select "OK."

      Scroll through the programs listed in the Add/Remove window until you find Windows Internet Explorer 7. Select IE7, and click on "Remove."
