Things You'll Need:
- 1 1/2 teaspoons season salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 beef rib roast ( 4 to 6 pounds)
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed

This is a simple recipe to recipe to prepare. This is the best tasting roast beef I have ever tasted. You will first need to get your roast beef out of the refrigerator. You will rub the roast beef with the season salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Place the roast in your roasting pan fat side up.

Place the cubes of butter on top of the roast. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour and forty five minutes to three hours or until meat reaches desired doneness. Medium rare your meat thermometer should read 145 degrees. Medium should be 160 degrees and well done would be 170 degrees.

Step 3
Let stand ten to fifteen minutes before cutting. This will allow the juices to be redistributed bake through out the meat. You can collect all the pan drippings and thicken with flour and make gravy if desired. You can substitute the meat rub with a meat marinade seasoning mix if you do not have these ingredients.
