Step 1
WATER YOUR LAWN
During summer, the best time to water the lawn is before dawn or after the sun sets, not in the afternoon when the sun is hot and shining. Don't water too much, your lawn only needs an inch or two of water during the hot months. Water a few days of the week for thirty to forty five minutes, with a sprinkler system or manually with a hose. -
Step 2
REMOVE THE WEEDS
Keep weeds totally out of your lawn- use a weed killer to get rid of them or pull them out by hand as soon you see them. Remove weeds from the roots with a weeding tool if it has been growing for some time. -
Step 3
MOW YOUR
Keep mower blade sharp. Depending on how fast your grass grows, mow your lawn every 7-14 days. Don’t cut the grass too short and too often. Keep the grass height between 3-4 inches for the summer.
