1. Open your internet browser and go to maps.google.com

2. Type the street address of the point of interest you like to visit.
   Example: 42 street and Broadway, NY

3. Click on Google map search to get the street map and points of interest results.

4. Read the results carefully. The results provided are much more than just a New York City map with your point of interest on it. The search shows you photos and places around the area such as; hotels, parks, museums and other places.

5. 

   Explore the results in more detailed. Click on the “explore this area” link to find additional resources in the area. Some of the additional results found may include: New York Broadway theaters, parking garages, restaurants maps for lunch and dinner.

6. Place your cursor on the map to see clearly where you are going. Use the cursor over the map to locate your address and zoom over it to find neighboring points of interests. Also, check out the traffic conditions in the area by clicking on the traffic link.

7. Another resource you can use to find a New York City Street map is the website for the Transportation Authority at MTA.info. This site provides free maps of New york city, however it's not as interactive as google maps.
