Baby games

I have find some stimulating baby games that I use to play with my 2 year old when he was first born. I am currently playing, played, and will be playing the sames games with my now 6 month old. These are sweet games to play with your own little or share with your friends and family.

This game will help develop eye-tracking skills and sense of touch.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Just you and baby
  1. Step 1

Pick a time when your baby is alert and clam, and gentle place your baby on his back.

  2. Step 2

Form a "bee" by pinching your index finger against your thumb and move your pretend bee above baby in swooping circles.

  3. Step 3

Be sure to make the buzzing sound in a high-pitched voice, " Buzz, buzz, buzz... the bee is going to tickle you!"

  4. Step 4

Buzz your bee around baby's tummy, almost landing, then rising again. Your little one will love the suspense of it all.

  5. Step 5

Land your bee on baby's tummy and give a him gentle tickle. Be sure to smile and say "tickle, tickle!" Smile and laugh along with your baby.

Tips & Warnings
  • A newborn's attention span is very short - no more than a minute or two. but that doesn't mean the two of you can't get down on the floor and play together. Just keep activities to a few minutes and be sure to stop when baby indicates he's had enough. Some telltale signs: he pushes toy away, squirms, rubs his eyes, or even falls asleep.
