Things You'll Need:
- Unbreakable mirror
- Scarf
-
Step 1
Baby GamesSit in front of a full-length mirror with baby on your lap. Look into the mirror with a blank expression on your face, then change quickly to a happy look.
-
Step 2
Say in a high-pitched voice, "Mommy looks happy!" or some other short, descriptive phase.
-
Step 3
Return to a blank look and move through other expressions: sad, excited, surprised. Baby won't understand but will be mesmerized by your facial changes.
-
Step 4
For extra fun for you and baby, drape the scarf over the mirror and play peek-a-boo with the reflection. Say,"I see baby!" Your baby will delight in the simple enjoy of the surprise.
