    Clean up around the house!

If you live with your dad, start by doing the chores around the house without him asking. If he leaves the house, let him come back to an empty laundry hamper, or an empty dishwasher. Doing this will take a lot of stress away from dad's day and will really let him know you appreciate him.

  2. Step 2

If you don't live with your father, give him a phone call. Just a simple phone call to wish him happy father's day will really brighten up his day and make him feel appreciated.

  3. Step 3

Whether you live with you father or not, you should always give him a gift. Try to think of something that he really enjoys. For example, my father is a computer geek so I typically give him something that relates to computers. Even a gift such as a card will show him that you truly appreciate him.

Tips & Warnings
  • Your father deserves some appreciation for what he has done for you! So make him feel good by practicing one of these steps above!
