How to Visit Hershey Park in Hershey, PA

Hershey Park, located in Hershey Pennsylvania is a wonderful place to visit for all ages. Hershey Park is owned and developed by the Hershey chocolate company. Parking at Hershey Park you will be greeted by your very first Hershey Park employee wishing you a "Sweet Day".

1. Tickets: Tickets may be purchased on site at the Hershey Park entrance gate or online at the Hershey Park website.
   
   Many unions offer a significant discount on Hershey Park tickets.
   
   Hershey Park discounts are also available through several restaurants and hotels in Hershey, PA.
   
   Those staying at the Hershey Park resorts will receive special discounts to the park as part of a package.

2. Parking: The Parking lot at Hershey Park is vast so get there early for the best parking. For those parking furthest from the entrance, there are shuttle buses to and from the Hershey Park entrance. The furthest parking spot is still in walking distance so those who wish to walk may do so.
   
   As of the original date of this article, parking at Hershey Park costs $10.00 for the day. There really is no alternative to parking at Hershey.

3. Rides: For small children there are many rides dedicated to their enjoyment. Many rides are even available to hand held infants if their parents accompany them making Hershey Park a wonderful choice for families.
   
   For teenagers and adults there are so many exciting rides and even a small water park for those who wish to sport their bikinis and Speedos!

4. Hershey's Chocolate World: A visit to Hershey's Chocolate World is a great idea after enjoying the rides. Hershey's Chocolate World has an adorable ride for all ages that tours an imaginary chocolate factory and explains visually and musically how Hershey Chocolate is made. Hershey's Chocolate World is located just outside of the park and no tickets are not needed to enter.
   
   Inside Hershey's Chocolate World you will also find a movie theater showing a movie in 3D, a large gift shop selling everything from t-shirts to chocolate and a personalized chocolate making machine where you can have your name or anything you like printed on the wrapper of your favorite chocolate bar.

5. After the park: Outlet shopping in Hershey, PA is a great way to finish off the afternoon. With great shops such as Ralph Lauren Outlet, Tommy Hilfiger Outlet, Gymboree Outlet and many more!

6. Hershey is making an effort to go green. Going green is a popular choice by many corporations and Hershey is no different. At Hershey they are reducing energy usage, recycling and purchasing environmentally safe products when possible reducing their carbon footprint. You can feel good about a visit to Hershey Park. While there is always room for improvement, the efforts at Hershey Park to go green is commendable.
