Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Research
  • Internet Access
  • Pen and paper to take notes
  • Car
  • Telephone
  • Telephone book
  • Mirror
  • Current hairstyle magazine
  1. Step 1

Put your hair back in a ponytail, and wear a headband. Look at your face in the mirror, and check for the face shape. What is your face shape?
    -Oval
    -Round
    -Long
    -Square
    -Angular
    -Rectangular
-Small German head and a long neck.

  2. Step 2

Check for prominent facial features. What facial part stands out the most?
    -Eyes, too big or small.
    -Big nose.
    -Big teeth.
-Thick nice hair or fine hair.
    -Pretty light eyes.
    -Big lips or thin lips
    -Glasses

  3. Step 3

Wear any hairstyle for an oval-shaped face because the oval face is the perfect face shape.
-Pick a simple haircut and keep your hair away from your face to show off your perfect face shape.
-If you have a prominent facial feature that you want to minimize, either wear bangs or use makeup tricks to minimize large eyes, nose or lips. Also, you can use makeup to enlarge eyes that are too small or making thin lips look fuller.

  4. Step 4

Keep your hair length below your chin and full at the sides if your face shape is long, narrow or rectangular.
-Curl your hair and brush it out for full body.
    -Consider a perm.
-Brush your hair over your head and down while bending over. Spray gel at the crown and put your hair up in a tight and high ponytail for a couple of minutes until the gel dries on your hair. Then, undo the ponytail, and brush your hair over your head again. Stand up and you will get instant fluff and body.
-Again, if you have big features that you want to minimize or small features that you would like to bring out more, use makeup to shade down or bring out the feature.
-Long bangs tends to minimize big or long nose.

  5. Step 5

Round and square face shapes tend to look too big, and many people want to minimize them to give the illusion of an oval shape.
-The best hairstyle is a high ponytail, high bun, a bob with layered sides that are brushed toward and on the face to minimize and slim the face.
-Bangs are good too, but they should not be cut straight across because it will bring out the width of the face. Bangs should be cut either angular to break the roundness of the face or cut along the face shape, with longer on the sides.
-Face can further look slim by shading the sides of the face, cheeks, chin and jaw down with blush and a dark contour color. And then, bring out the best features with darker makeup, whether it is nice lips or pretty eyes.

  6. Step 6

Angular and asymmetrical facial shapes look best with funky, quirky and asymmetrical hairstyles that camouflages an asymmetrical face shape. Such haircuts are usually found on runway models, and the look tends to look edgy and fierce.
-Short to medium length hair is the best length.
-And, again, makeup can be used to minimize big facial features or bring out small features.

  7. Step 7

The small German head with long neck tends to stand out against a big boned body. The head tends to be too small for the rest of the body, and therefore looks awkward and off.
-The best haircut is a short hairstyle and without bangs.
-If you have to have bangs, make sure the bangs are brushed out to the sides or up into a funky style to create volume for the small head that will balance out with the rest of the body and fit the big boned body.
-If the small head tends to be narrow, then consider a body perm for a short hairstyle to create more volume and bring out the head more.
-Again, use makeup to bring out certain facial features as well as minimizing other facial features.
