PayPal provides a convenient way for small businesses and individuals to receive credit card and eCheck payments. Many merchants use PayPal to process credit cards for on-line transactions. PayPal members can send an email to request money or to invoice customers, or post a PayPal link on their website. Customers can complete payments through their PayPal account or securely provide their credit card for processing by PayPal. Secure credit transactions are handled by PayPal and account numbers are not provided to the merchant or business. Payments are deposited into the recipient's PayPal account for immediate use or transfer to a registered bank account.
