1
Find a demo copy of the game. This shouldn't be too hard, as the game was made by Microsoft. Microsoft actually has a game site where you can download a trial copy of the game and see if you like it (see References, below).
-
2
Click "Downloads" on the website. On the site is a Trial Version which is about 25.8 MB of file space. This should not take you longer than 5 minutes to download. Go ahead and download it then hit the "Run" key. If you have Windows XP, the screen will come up automatically. If you have Vista, you have to allow the program to run on your system.

3
Select the radio button marked "Install" and agree to the End-User License Agreement. Go ahead and accept that. The program will check for DirectX 6.1 or later on your computer. You may have to download this driver -- the program is so old that it won't notice more recent versions of DirectX, so go ahead and install it. You might have to download DirectX 9 for XP or DirectX 10 for Vista once you're finished with this game.
-
4
Double click the desktop icon to launch the game. Once you're done with the initial installation, a desktop icon should appear on your computer. Go ahead and click on it and you'll be driving the trial version in no time!

Another Alternative is that you can go through Amazon and buy it for less than Microsoft would ask you if they were to try to sell you a copy of this game.
