How to Switch From VGA to DVI
DVI output is better in quality than that of VGA output simply because DVIs are digital, while VGAs are analog. Pictures generated by High-Definition TV screens are digitally matched pixel by pixel in their panels, and they can share this through their DVI ports. The graphics card of a computer reads and generates a computer image as digital and converts it as an analog signal when transmitted through a VGA output. A computer monitor with a VGA output can benefit from clearer, more graphic images of HDTVs when signals are mediated by a VGA to DVI converter box.
