How to Make Yourself Look Like a Doll on Photoshop

Photoshop is a program that allows the user to design and alter images and photographs for personal use. Making a photograph of yourself look like a doll is possible by using Photoshop. In order to do this, smooth the edges and remove definition from the photo. In time, you will have a face that looks like a doll.

Instructions

1. Open Adobe Photoshop. In the "File" menu, choose "Open," and then locate the image you wish to use on your computer. Select it and click "Open."

2. Check to make sure that your image is in RGB color mode by selecting "Mode" under the "Image" menu. Make sure that RGB is checked. If it is not, check it. You will change modes in the next step, but you must first be in RGB mode before converting.

3. Convert your image into Lab Color mode. Go to "Image," "Mode," and then select "Lab Color."

4. Click the Channels tab in your Layers palette. Click on the "a" channel.

5. Go to the "Filter" menu at the top of the screen, and choose "Blur." Then click "Gaussian Blur." In the screen that comes up, enter 9 pixels in the radius box.

6. Choose the "b" channel. Perform the same Gaussian blur on this channel.

7. Choose the "Lightness" channel in your channels palette by clicking on it. Click "Filter," then "Stylize" and then "Diffuse." When selecting the mode, choose "Anisotropic."

8. Click on the "Lab" channel. This will allow you to edit your entire image in the next few steps.

9. Choose "Sharpen," under the "Filter" menu, then "Unsharp Mask." Enter 80 in the amount section, .8 in the pixels section and 0 in the threshold section.

10. View your image and save it to your computer.
