If you like mangos, then you will love this mango pie. Especially during the spring and summer months. This will make a great desert at a BBQ or for a Fourth of July treat. Mango pie is easy to make and very delicious. You will make such a great impression on family and friends.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Big Pie Crust
  • 1 Can of Alfonso Mango Pulp (30oz)
  • 3 Packs of unflavored Gelatin (sometimes I use peach)
  • 1 8oz Cool Whip
  • 3/4 Cup of Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Water
  • Medium Saucepan (3 Quarts)
  • Mixer
  • Medium Bowl
  • Large Spoon
  1. Step 1

Take Saucepan and put the Gelatin in it. Add 1 tablespoon of Water to dilute the Gelatin.

  2. Step 2

Open Can of Mango Pulp and Mix it with a large spoon. I usually just mix it in the can but if not put it in a medium bowl and mix.

  3. Step 3

Add the Mango Pulp and sugar in the saucepan. Medium heat the saucepan on the stove top. Heat the saucepan until the Mango Pulp mix starts to bubble.

  4. Step 4

Let it cool down. Add cool whip to the Mango Pulp mix.

  5. Step 5

    Pour on Pie Crust.

  6. Step 6

Refrigerate at least 3 to 4 hours or until the Mango mix has set.

  7. Step 7

Cut into slices. Enjoy the yummy Mango Pie!!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can always pour the mix from saucepan to bowl before you include Cool Whip. It might be easier for you to pour into pie crust.
  • Do not touch the pot when it is hot.
  • Do not let the Mango Pulp mix bubble to long or it will burn.
