Parents the kids are out of school, and you want to make sure that they are safe.
A parent's worst nightmare is when you don't know where your child is. Not returning home , when they are supposed to is indeed a nightmare , you can't sleep and you wonder like crazy.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • cell phones
  • where they are at all times
  • good communication
  • know their friends
  • curfew
  1. Step 1
Make sure it's supervised by an adult that you trust.

Knowing your kids friends and their families are a big help. I'm not the parent to allow sleep overs. Too many things happen, such as some children, are molested by others while he of she is spending the night out. Some are just kidnapped and never seen again. This is a parent's horrible might mare. But in reality this can happen to your child. parent's I think that our children are safe at home with us. I'm not saying you can't trust anyone but ... you really can't . You do have your friends that you do trust and you know it's safe. If the sleep over is monitored then I guess it's ok. You Be The Judge!

  2. Step 2
Pool parties are fun ,but watch out for pool safety

Summertime is here and the kids want to go to the pool. Pool safety must be taught. Again I say nobody can watch your child like you do. There are people who can be trusted, but if your a parent you have that inner feeling that only you can protect your child. That's just us right ? Well dads are the same way as well . They are our protectors too. My dad , you could never get away with anything. He is the Super Dad of all times.

  3. Step 3
    WAtch your children at gatherings

Most families have cook outs and family gatherings at the house ,make sure that you know where you children are. Children ,sneak off when their not being looked after, or should I say , when they think that no ones watching.

  4. Step 4
Cell phones can be a help, make sure they take their charger with them.

Cell phones can be a help, make sure they take their charger with them.

If you have older kids, teens and such, make sure that they have a working cell phone and keep their phones charged at all times. I make my 2 take their charger where ever they go . They don't have the excuse that their phone is dead . there is a curfew in my home I know that you have one as well. I don't care how old your are you have a curfew. It does not hurt to put your on one either. Do some activities , that your children will like.

Such as, playing board games, watching family movies, do the things that families should do . Believe me they won't get board. Be Well !

on 7/14/2009 This was very helpful. It's true no one will watch out for our kids like we do. These days you just can't trust anyone. Thanx for the great tips.
