Things You'll Need:
- Storage bins and containers
- Bulletin board
- Thumb tacks

Step 1
Jewelry making supplies in craft binsBuy craft bins and containers. These can be found in any craft store and can often also be found in your local bead store. There are a variety of options to choose from: You can buy small, individual containers for beads and use an art bin for tools. Larger containers with multiple compartments are also very useful for organizing jewelry making supplies.
-
Step 2
Keep your beads and findings separate. This will make it easy for you to find exactly what you need without having to sort through all of your jewelry making supplies.
-
Step 3
Organize beads by color. Organizing by color is a great way to quickly and easily find the right beads. If you’ve started a project and want to add a certain color, you can look at all your beads of that color and decide which would fit best.
-
Step 4
Label the contents of each container or compartment. When it comes time to sell a piece of jewelry, you need to be able to quickly identify the jewelry making supplies you used to provide the potential buyer with an appropriate description of the piece.

Step 5
Jewelry making supplies on a bulletin boardHang tools and wire on a bulletin board. I like to put a bulletin board up next to my work station and hang all of my pliers and wire on thumb tacks. It saves both time and frustration because you don’t have to dig around in boxes or bins to find the tools you need.
