Things You'll Need:
- old newspaper
- scotch tape
-
Step 1
First of all, you should consider what your Dad's favorite section of the newspaper to read. For instance, maybe he is a big sports fan. Maybe he likes to read the financial section to catch up on his favorite stocks. Or, maybe do not use a newspaper at all. Maybe he has a favorite magazine he reads quite often about hunting. Now gather the newspaper or magazine you are using to begin.
-
Step 2
Make sure that he has already read the newspaper or magazine before you start, because you are about to cut it all to pieces. Then, wrap his Father's Day gift with all the clippings you cut out, such as his favorite sports team. You can use as many sections as you would like or you could use pieces from different sections.
-
Step 3
Once you are finshed with the wrapping, add your Father's Day card to the top of the gift. Make sure you add a very personal message. Do not assume that the card you bought says exactly what you wanted to say. You can even be more creative and make a card of your own, showing your Dad how much you really appreciate him on Father's Day. Add your own personal message in the card, and maybe even drop a little hint on the gift to make him think of what it is while he is opening the gift. This adds excitement to opening the gift, almost as much as the excitement he will have when he sees his brand spanking new, shiny toy!
