- Oven
- Stove top
- Tiny brush
- Polymer clay (optional)
- Conditioner (optional)
-
Step 1
Wig BlockDecide whether you would like to make the wig directly on the doll, or on a wig block made of polymer clay. It's your choice. I prefer the doll head.
-
Step 2
Wig CapPlace plastic wrap over the doll head or wig block and wrap it tight with a rubber band. The hair will be glued in place on the plastic film.
-
Step 3
Brush the ViscoseTake a little bit of viscose and gently brush it till it's smooth. Do not cut the viscose blunt or it will make it difficult to wrap around the paper clips.
-
Step 4
Wrap The ViscoseWrap the piece of viscose around a paper clip and twist the viscose as you wind it. Dampen in a small cup of water. Sink water is fine. For more curl, add a small amount of conditioner to the dipping water.
-
Step 5
Blot on paper towel and put in the oven at 200 degrees to dry and set the curl.
-
Step 6
Repeat steps three through five as many times as needed.
-
Step 7
Create CapGlue a small amount of viscose (from top to chin length) till the head or wig block is covered.
-
Step 8
Glue the ViscoseWhen all strands of hair are dry, strand by strand put a small amount of glue to an end of the viscose curls.

Adding CurlsPlace them neatly on the tips of the wig block or head.
