How to Create BlackBerry Ringtones
Just as with standard cell phones, BlackBerry users can change the phone's ringtones. If you have not found a BlackBerry ringtone that you like or you don't wish to spend money on a ringtone, you can create your own.

1
Register a Myxer.com account. While it's not necessary to create an account in order to create BlackBerry ringtones using Myxer, setting up an account will make the process much easier. Once the registration process is complete, you will be taken to the homepage for your account.
-
2
Click the "Account" link located in the top right portion of the Myxer web page. Then click "Phone Details" on the left side of the next page.
-

3
Choose your cell phone carrier by clicking on the "Wireless Carrier" box. Depending on which company you choose, a drop box may appear next to the "Phone" option. If one does, search for and select your type of BlackBerry and then click "Update."
-
4
Click "Make Your Own." This link is located in the blue Myxer toolbar near the top of the Web page. You will then be taken to the page that will allow you to begin creating BlackBerry ringtones.
-
5
Upload an audio clip to Myxer by clicking the "Upload" button. Then search for and choose the audio clip or song. A smaller window will open after you choose the song. You will see a small audio animation at the top of the window.
-
6
Slide the two orange bars found in the audio animation to change both the start and length of the ringtone. When you move these bars, you will notice that the values in the "Start" and "Length" boxes beneath the animation will also change. You can click the "Play" button to preview the ringtone. Click "Continue" when you're satisfied with the ringtone.
-
7
Click "Send to Phone." The BlackBerry ringtone will then be created. Once it is, two separate windows will appear. Inside of these windows will be instructions for saving the created ringtone to your BlackBerry. You must follow these specific instructions as they will vary based upon both which BlackBerry you own and your cell phone carrier.
