How to Remove the Conduit Toolbar
The Conduit Toolbar is a custom search toolbar that allows you to search for content such as pictures, videos, research and services on the Internet. A customized Conduit Toolbar can be branded with a business logo and include your favorite links and search engines. If you do not use it, removing a customized Conduit Toolbar is like removing any other program through the Windows operating system.

Click "Start" and select "Control Panel."

Click the "Uninstall a Program" link under the Programs section.

Select "Conduit Toolbar" from the list of currently installed programs, and click "Uninstall." Click "Yes" to confirm your choice.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox, click the "Firefox" menu, select "Add-Ons" and choose the "Extensions" tab.

Click "Conduit Toolbar" and select "Remove." Restart your Web browser.

It seems that the Scam bar called conduit can be removed from Fire Fox through the tool bar as stated. I am almost sure my copy scammed in on a CNET download. I am not sure what they call malware but to me this is a good example.
