How to Convert FLAC to MP4
FLAC, or Free Lossless Audio Codec, is an audio-file type that is similar to MP3. The main difference between FLAC and MP3 format is FLAC is compressed without a loss in quality. MP4 files are the file type used by MP4 players as well as media players such as QuickTime. If you have FLAC files you want to convert to MP4 files, you can do that with a converter program. Download and install the OJOsoft Audio Converter. It is free to try OJOsoft Audio Converter, but you have to pay to keep it.

Open the OJOsoft Audio Converter on your computer. Select your FLAC file by clicking the "Browse" button located by the field for "Input File Name." Multiple FLAC files can be converted at the same time.

Click the "To MP4" button to set your output type. The button is located on the toolbar. Once you click it, the profile field will change to MP4.

Select the output location for your computer by clicking on the "Browse" button that is located by the field for "Output File Name." Pick a location on your computer as the destination for converted MP4 files.

Locate the "Convert" button on the lower-right corner. Click this button when you are ready to convert the FLAC file to MP4. When the conversion begins, the progress bar along the bottom of the screen will fill across as the file converts. A summary screen will pop up when the conversion is complete to let you know it was a success. Click "OK" on the pop-up and you will then be able to use the new MP4 files.
