Smiley icons have been used with increasing frequency as texting, emailing, instant messaging, and online networking and communication increases in popularity. The traditional smiley has oval eyes and a smile. Other smiley icons have different facial expressions like confusion, anger and surprise. Smiley faces rely on basic shapes to express emotion and drawing a smiley with a double chin is no different.
