How to Convert into Vob
VOB is a file extension that refers to the main file on a DVD. It stands for "DVD Video Object". VOB format is qutie different from normal video formats on your computer such as AVI or MPG. These video formats can be played on many video players. In order to change these files into something that can be burned to, and played with a DVD player, however, you'll need to do a conversion from the video format to VOB.

Download a program that can convert to VOB format. An example is Format Factory (See Resources). Click on the download link on the site, and then click "OK" or "Save file" depending on your settings, when a window pops up.

Double-click on the converter .exe file to begin the installation. Your computer should automatically use a program to open the archive file that you downloaded so that you can see the file that ends in ".exe". If not, you'll need to download and install a program that can open archives first, like WinRar (See Resources).

Go through the installation process. Hit "I agree" in the first license agreement screen, after reading the license agreement. Then click on "Install" in the next screen. After installation, click "Finish" to begin the program.

go to the "Video" tab on the left, and look at the buttons under it. Find the "All to VOB" button and click on it. A new screen pops up. Click on "Add file", which will open a browse window. Find your video file and double-click on it to close the browser.

Click "OK" in the previous screen to return to the main screen. Your video file to be converted will be listed under "Source." Hit the "Start" button at the top of the screen to begin converting.

Tips & Warnings
"Output folder" is a button on the main screen that will show you where your new VOB file will be stored when finished.
