How to Use the Sensor Bar on a Wii

      The sensor bar connector is located on the back of the Wii console. The bar's unique plug makes it easy to find among the other connectors. Plug it in. Depending on how you want your set-up, put the bar above or below your television set. Look at your set-up and decide how you want to do it.

      Remove the protective covering on the bottom of the bar to attach it accordingly. There is more adhesive tape included with your Wii, as well. Make sure the sensor is aligned with the front of the television. Turn the Wii on; it's time to test the sensor bar to make sure it works.

      Pick up the remote and try to use it. You can use more adhesive tape to adjust the alignment, if needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • The sensor bar stand can also be used and could possibly provide a better signal. Remember that it works best when the front of the bar is aligned with the front of the television.
