How to Remove Wallpaper from Windows XP
A wide variety of wallpapers are both included with Windows XP and available online for downloading. Over a long period of time, these wallpapers can accumulate, and since most of them are rarely used or not used at all, they are just taking up space on your hard drive. Removing them isn't as simple as just clicking an uninstall button, but with a little effort it can be done quickly and easily.

Tips & Warnings
Although a few of the wallpapers will be located in the C:\WINDOWS folder, it is not recommended that you delete any of these, because there are a lot of very important files in that location, and if certain files are inadvertently deleted it can prevent Windows from running properly.
