President Barack Obama claimed his administration would be the most accessible and easy to contact in the history of the United States. As of 2011, three years into the Obama presidency, he did have more social media outlets than any other president. Any citizen can use those outlets, or some traditional methods to get a message to Obama.

      Emails are accepted at the official White House website at whitehouse.gov/contact. You must enter your name, email, zip code, and a subject matter line before you write your message. Messages can not exceed 2,500 characters. The White House also has a phone number, 202-456-1111, for general comments.
