You're a busy parent! Every minute counts getting through house cleaning. Breeze through the housework of having a clean kitchen floor - FAST!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A rag
  • A non-toxic spray cleaner
  • A vacuum cleaner
  1. Step 1

Get The Dirt To The Middle Of The Floor
Whether it's a hardwood floor or tile cleaning you're doing, it's faster to move dirt OUT from under cabinets than it is to move the vacuum IN to where the dirt is! So get busy with that rag: VERY QUICKLY slide a rag under cabinets and in corners. Push all that nasty dirt into the main part of the kitchen floor where it's easier to reach!

  2. Step 2

    Vacuum The Floor...The Fast Way
With the dirt moved to the main floor area, cleaning it up is so much easier: you can vacuum much faster just over the main areas of the floor, grabbing up the dirt. Pronto! The floor looks so much better already!

  3. Step 3

Why Wash? Just Spray And Wipe!
Odds are the entire floor doesn't need a full washing. So how to clean it fast? Hit the highlights: spray just the worst spots with a cleaning spray like Mr. Clean, Simple Green or a home-made cleaning solution. Find that rag you just "dusted" with, and wipe the spots clean.

  4. Step 4

    Presto! Stand Back And Admire!
Take a quick look and see if you missed any spots. If you did, just spray and wipe again. Then toss that used rag into the trash or into a compost bin. You just saved a BOATLOAD of time...and the floor looks pretty darned good!

Tips & Warnings
  • REMEMBER! Choose a cleaner that is safe not only for your hardwood floor or ceramic tile, but also safe for children and pets! Their hands, feet, and paws absorb whatever you put on your floor - today and tomorrow.
