Things You'll Need:
- Camera
- Monkey (obviously)
-
Step 1
Monkey eating.Have your camera on at all times when near the monkeys. Monkeys move awfully fast and so you will need to be ready to snap a picture at a moment's notice. You do NOT want to miss the monkey doing something cute.
-
Step 2
Look at his hand!Turn the flash on your camera OFF if you are looking at the monkeys through a glass window. The flash will make a horrid glare on the glass and you will not be able to see the cuteness of the monkeys. Turn that flash off, or you may miss a cool shot of a monkey looking adorable! If you are looking at the monkeys through a cage, then go ahead and turn your flash on.
-
Step 3
Monkey hand.Turn your camera to the video setting. This is your BEST option. Record a video of the monkeys. Then later, you can go through the video on your computer and make still pictures from the frames, which will result in some REALLY sweet moments that you probably would not have captured.
-
Step 4
Monkey on your back?Be patient! One of the biggest things you will need to have when photographing monkeys is patience. They may be lazy at times and won't move around very much. You will need to wait until they become more active. Or you can take pictures of them being lazy.
-
Step 5
Checking it out.Wait for just the right moment. Monkeys will do hilarious things if you watch them long enough. They may scratch their butts or even play with themselves. If you are patient enough, you may see them do some pretty comical things.
-
Step 6
Looking at you.Take a picture each time a monkey looks at you. It is good to capture the moments where you and the monkey interact.
-
Step 7
Cute monkey.Take a picture of the monkey if it looks like the monkey is laughing. You can even make a scrapbook later and turn it into a story about a monkey. You can tell people that you told a funny joke and that you made the monkey laugh. Then show them the picture and they will believe you!
-
Step 8
Sweet.Take a picture of the simple things, like a mother and her baby monkey. This will be a picture that you can frame and hang up around your house for all to see.
