How to make cherry cream cheese dessert cups

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • graham crackers
  • sugar
  • butter
  • cream cheese
  • condensed milk
  • lemon juice
  • vanilla extract
  • cherry pie filling
  1. Step 1

You will need a cupcake baking pan. Once you have the pan insert the paper liners. You will now make the crust for your cherry cream cheese dessert cups. You will need 3/4 cup of graham cracker crumbs. I smash up about 12 squares. Two tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of melted butter will also need to be added to your bowl. Mix these ingredients together. You will divide this mixture into your cupcake pan. You will add about 4 teaspoons of the graham cracker mixture to each cup.

  2. Step 2

In a mixing bowl add one eight ounce package of cream cheese that you have left soften. Beat the cream cheese until smooth. You will gradually add in one fourteen ounce can of condensed milk until well blended. You will then beat in 1/3 cup of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. You will now spoon in 1/4 cup of this filling into each of your dessert cups.

  3. Step 3

Now you will need to open your 21 ounce can of cherry pie filling. You will top each of your cups with the pie filling. You will cover and allow them to sit in the refrigerator for an hour before serving. You can substitute with any pie filling you choose. You can garnish with fresh mint.
