How to Dye / Highlight Your Roots

Here is an easy way to dye your roots. Do these steps, and your hair will look fantastic!

Things You'll Need

• Hair dye/ highlighter
• towel
• hair ties or clips
• mirror

Instructions

1. First put your hair in a bun. Then put on your gloves, and prepare your dye/ highlighter as directed in the instructions that came with the box. Also take note of the time, as every brand is different.

2. Begin applying all around the hair line. From the top, Sides, and the back. This should be easy if your hair is in a bun. Use a mirror to see the back. Remember to lather well behind the ears.

3. Next take your hair down. Divide down the middle, and apply the dye down the center. On both sides of the center well. About an inch wide. Then take sections of hair, and lift up, and apply generous amounts of dye.

4. Keep the dye close to the scalp. Continue to apply until roots are saturated. Now leave on the directed time. Then rinse out, add conditioner, and leave on 2-5 mins. Then rinse, your roots should be amazing!
