How to Make Mexican Ice Cream

Easy mexican treat, mexican ice cream otherwise known as fried ice cream. This verison is supper easy to do you can prepare the ice cream part ahead of time to save on steps

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • ice cream
  • 4 soft taco shells
  • 6 cups of corn flakes
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/3 cup of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • cool whip
  • plastic bag
  • cookie sheet
  • wax
  1. Step 1

    Begin by adding the cornflakes, cinnamon and sugar into a ziplock bag seal it and crush the cornflakes and make sure everything is mix together well.

  2. Step 2

    Next take a cookie sheet and line it with wax paper, then take your frozen ice cream and form them into a ball and place it into the bag and make sure each one is coated. place the ice cream ball onto the cookie sheet repeat this step until each one is done place the cookie sheet into the freezer for 1-2 hours.

  3. Step 3

    Now when your ready to serve this heat a fry pan with butter or oil. Lightly fry each taco shell on each side for about 30 seconds each. Place the shell on a serving plate Place one of the ice cream balls on top of the shell drizzle it with honey and add cool whip and serve.
