How to Convert Forms in Word to PDF

The release of Microsoft Word 2007 is an improvement over prior releases because it allows more ways to save files into other formats. A PDF is a much more secure type of file because the information cannot be changed or edited. PDF files are also usable by those who do not have Microsoft Office products installed on their machines. Saving Word files as PDF documents is a quick, easy and secure process.

Instructions

    • 1

Download the 2007 office add-in from the Microsoft website. Click on "Save File" when the dialog box appears.

    • 2

Open the .exe file and install the software.

    • 3

Open the file you want to convert in Word 2007.

    • 4

Click on "Save As" and choose "PDF or XPS." Choose the location and a new file name if desired. Select PDF as the file type, and click on "Publish."
